Had an interview recently, and the creative director asked me about my workflow. It got me thinking I should add a section to my site breaking down my process, step-by-step. Decided to create a few animations to show how I work through a project. Here are some tests I played around with tonight!

Haven’t done much rigging lately, so this was a nice refresher. I used joints and a weight map to animate an envelope opening. Also tested out a plugin called Varitext to play with animating the font’s weight. For the flying papers, I mixed things up with bend deformers, keyframing, and a bit of cloth simulation. The envelope motion is still pretty stiff and needs some more love.
